Deadpool and the Multiverse's Last Stand . .

Deadpool and the Multiverse's Last Stand . .

Synopsis . .

In a universe teetering on the brink of collapse, Deadpool finds himself in a sticky situation when the Time Variance Authority (TVA) approaches him with an unexpected offer. His own chaotic timeline has become too dangerous, and the TVA decides to recruit Deadpool as a "wild card" in exchange for a spot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The TVA hopes his unpredictable nature might be just the thing to help them stabilize collapsing timelines.

However, Deadpool has his own agenda. Instead of simply accepting the TVA’s offer and relocating to a more stable timeline, he bargains for something bigger—a mission to save his endangered universe. He insists that if he’s going to help the TVA, he needs backup, and he knows just the man: Wolverine. .

Plot . .

Act 1: The Offer . .

  • Deadpool is approached by a TVA agent (possibly Mobius, who has an affinity for handling strange cases) who explains that Deadpool’s universe has become dangerously volatile, and the TVA is considering “pruning” it.
  • Deadpool, known for breaking the fourth wall, takes the offer as a hilarious opportunity to roast Marvel Studios, quipping about the MCU’s strict PG-13 rules and his R-rated nature. However, he sees this as a chance to finally play with “the big kids” and pushes for a way to keep his current universe intact.
  • Deadpool’s charm (and annoyance) gets him a temporary assignment with the TVA to see if he can save his timeline before they move forward with erasing it.

Act 2: The Plan . .

  • Deadpool realizes he needs help from a figure just as tough as he is. He uses the TVA’s multiversal travel technology to locate a variant of Wolverine—a version of Logan with similar grit but unique experiences and traits.
  • They find this Wolverine variant in a reality that is much darker and grittier than Deadpool’s original universe. This version of Wolverine is battle-hardened, cautious about Deadpool’s true motives, but reluctantly agrees to help.

Act 3: The Mission . .

  • Deadpool and Wolverine set out on a high-stakes, time-traveling adventure through the multiverse. They dodge TVA agents, visit various broken timelines, and eventually encounter a powerful villain threatening to obliterate Deadpool’s reality.
  • Along the way, they bond in unexpected ways, even though Wolverine grows increasingly exasperated with Deadpool’s antics and inability to take things seriously.

Act 4: The Battle for the Universe . .

  • In the climactic showdown, Deadpool and Wolverine confront the antagonist, who represents all the forces that aim to erase "anomalous" universes.
  • With the TVA agents unable to interfere directly, Deadpool and Wolverine fight to preserve Deadpool’s reality, enlisting the help of unlikely allies from different timelines.
  • Deadpool uses his comedic unpredictability to gain the upper hand, while Wolverine’s tactical and brutal combat skills are crucial in the fight.

Act 5: The Aftermath . .

  • Despite their victory, Deadpool realizes he can’t stay in his universe if it’s to survive. The TVA offers him a final choice: he can either stay with Wolverine as a rogue, multiversal “agent,” or he can settle into the main MCU timeline as an unpredictable wildcard.
  • In a rare moment of sincerity, Deadpool thanks Wolverine, setting the stage for possible future adventures together. He steps into the MCU, knowing he has plenty of new playmates—and a universe worth fighting for.

Key Themes . .

  • Identity and Belonging: Deadpool faces an existential crisis over his place in the multiverse and what “belonging” even means for a character like him.
  • Friendship and Trust: The unlikely bond between Deadpool and a different version of Wolverine showcases the value of friendship, even among misfits.
  • Redemption: Deadpool, often seen as the comic relief or anti-hero, has the opportunity to make a true difference, showing his heroic side beneath the wisecracks.

Characters . .

  • Deadpool: As unpredictable as ever, Deadpool breaks every rule, mocks the TVA and MCU tropes, and challenges the TVA’s understanding of timelines and characters.
  • Variant Wolverine: A weary, alternate version of Logan who retains the essence of Wolverine but has a distinct story and background in his own universe.
  • TVA (Time Variance Authority): Represented by Mobius and other agents, the TVA is a mix of bureaucratic order and necessary chaos, serving as Deadpool’s gateway to the MCU.
  • Primary Antagonist: An entity or villain that serves as the multiverse’s version of “entropy,” representing the TVA’s ultimate fear—an unpredictable anomaly that could unravel everything.

Conclusion . .

This crossover could set up Deadpool’s arrival in the MCU while paying homage to fan-favorite themes from both franchises. By teaming up with a variant Wolverine, the story honors Deadpool’s chaotic spirit and Logan’s grit, hinting at the unpredictable adventures to come. This storyline would give Marvel fans a thrilling, funny, and touching way to welcome Deadpool into the MCU. .
